Railway suspends services amid protests

Srinagar, Oct 29 (GNS): Two minor boys were crushed to death by train at Prichal area of Pulwama in south Kashmir on Sunday late afternoon.

A police officer told news agency GNS that Naveed Nisar Shah (6-year-old) s/o Nisar Ahmad Shah and Tajan Shah (7-year-old) s/o Raj Mohammad, both residents of Prichal village came under the moving train and died on the spot.

Soon after the incident a number of people took to streets and staged a protest demonstration following which railway authorities suspended the train services. The incident occurred at around 4:00 pm. (GNS)
