Srinagar, Oct 11: The importance of health care services in the modern day society is well documented for improvement in quality of life, a defence spokesman in a statement issued here said.
Lack of primary health care infrastructure in the far flung areas of the Aragam called for timely care and diagnosis, which was organised at Nagbal in collaboration with Mr Altaf Ahmad Bhatt who is a Comunity Health Care worker in Aragam. 200 locals including elders, women and children queued up to the aid post from areas of Nagbal, Krisal, Gurhajan, Chanpal and Langarpura. The Medical Aid Post offered health services – curative, preventive, promotive and referral, to a large number of people in selected interior areas. The medical assistance initiative was appreciated and welcomed by locals in the area.
