Srinagar, June 6 (GNS): Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Mahmood Shah on Tuesdaystrongly condemned the police raid on the house of its slain militant Majid Zargar. He also termed the “act of violence” on elderly as “inhumane and shameful”.
Shah in a statement issued to a local news agency GNS said, “India won’t bear any fruit by imposing violence on the family members of the martyred. The freedom struggle of Kashmir is in the hands of the educated youth who have not only witnessed the brutality of Indian aggression but have borne the loss of their beloved ones.”
LeT chief said the local police “may also go through this pain if they didn’t abstain from their acts of brutality”. “The martyrs and their beloved family members are our honour and we won’t bear any harm to them,” he said. (GNS)
