Jammu, Feb 13: The government on Monday rescinded its order which was in violation of norms to assign five employees of Industries the additional charge of General Managers of different districts.

The action followed after Minister for Industries Chander Parkash took serious note of the news carried by GNS, highlighting how five employees were benefitted in violation of the norms.

“Government order No. 58-IND of 2018 dated 09-02-2018 issued under endorsement number IND/DIC-105/2013 dated 09-02-2018 is hereby rescinded,” reads an order issued by the Shailendra Kumar Commissioner Secretary to Government Industries and Commerce Department

AJJSKA President meanwhile said: “we are working for the cause of Junior Scale KAS service and he has thankful of the mister and commissioner Secretary for taking quick action with regard to the rescinding of the order.”

The General Manager post of the rank of Additional Secretary and the officers were assigned the additional charge by virtue of now rescinded government order. Moreover, Junior scale KAS officers who are presently working in the capacity of FM/PM in different Districts were ignored. These include Junior scale officers of 2011,12,13,15 batch. The junior scale KAS officers of 2011 batch have even been granted selection grade by GAD recently. Needless to mention here that the order was issued in total violation of norms.
