Srinagar, Jan 9: The government on Monday ruled out revocation of SRO-202 on new job policy, saying there was no proposal under consideration as it was issued pursuant to a conscious and thoughtful decision of the Government.

“Sir, there is no proposal under consideration in the Health and Medical Education Department for revocation of SRO -202 of 2015 as this SRO was issued pursuant to a conscious and thoughtful decision of the Government,” health minister according to Kashmir Glory said in a written reply by a question by MLA Nelam Kumar Lengeh

Asked whether it was a fact that employers appointed in Health and Medical Education Department under SRO 384 are drawing more salaries then those of appointed under SRO 202, the minister said: “An employee under SRO 384 is engaged on academic arrangement basis for a maxiumum salary of pay scale+ G Pay +DA+HRA, whereas under SRO 202 the employees is entitled for minimum of Pay scale + Grade pay for a fixed period of first 05 years and thereafter such appointees becomes entitled for full pay, as per the rule.”
