Srinagar, Oct 29: The Army in its  endeavour for productive engagement of the AWAM of Baramulla and adjoining areas, organised a function at Thimayya Hall, Baramulla, a defence spokesman in a statement issued here said.

“The Dagger Division organised ‘Jashn-e-Hifazat’ function to commemorate the bravery of the AWAM of Baramulla in fighting the tribal raiders at Baramulla in 1947-48 operations. 26-28 October marks the 70th anniversary of the gallant actions of the AWAM of Baramulla, which has  played an important role in saving Kashmir from alien ruthless marauders”, he said.
