Srinagar, Nov 14: Students of department of tourism studies, CUK, outshined more than 55 universities and colleges in two-day management festival at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

A team of 12 students led by team leader Firdous Shah under the supervision of assistant Professor Farooq Ahmad took part in the fest which was conducted by University Business School, GNDU Amritsar.

The CUK students’ bagged 1st positions in four events which include Debate, Writing, Talent Hunt, Hire or Fire, one 2nd position in Entrepreneurship, Skills performed at stage, three 3rd positions in the other events.

“We are very thankful to the department and the VC for giving us opportunities to showcase our talent and the credit of this success goes to the whole department,” said Firdous Shah, adding, “I am also thankful to the students and management of GNDU, Amritsar who left no stone unturned to insure our comforts and hospitality”.
