Srinagar, Nov 30: Stone-pelting clashes erupted in Pulwama and Pakherpora following encounter between militants and government forces in Fotlipora village of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Official sources told GNS that a joint team of army, SOG and CRPF cordoned off the Fotlipora village in Pakherpora today at around 6:30 am following intelligence inputs about the presence of 2 to 3 militants.

As such the joint team of forces intensified the search operation and fired several warning shots towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants opened fire triggering off an encounter, they said.

Meanwhile, Stone-pelting clashes erupted near encounter site and it’s neighbouring Pulwama town as news regarding encounter spread.
