Srinagar, Oct 11: The Army is conducting Baramulla Premier League, a T-20 cricket tournament to promote sporting culture amongst the youth, a defence spokesman in a statement issued here said.
The annual sporting spectacle will be conducted over a period of one month engaging a crowd of about 2000 youths.  The qualifying matches started from 29 Sep 2017 with participation of 51 teams at Jhelum Stadium.  A total of 32 teams were selected for the knock out round. The first stage of knock out match commenced from 10 Oct 2017 onwards at Shaukat Ali Stadium and the grand finale is planned for 27 Oct 2017.
