As the education sector in the country including the Jammu and Kashmir is undergoing positive transformation, what is needed is the innovative approach to learning which will go a long way in brushing up the intellectual capabilities of the students. This sector is undergoing rapid transformation with technological innovations due to the initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is keen on ensuring that the students get quality educational facilities at par with developed and advanced countries of the world. This is a positive initiative on his part. As such, it is our responsibility to strengthen these initiatives by contributing our bit in this noble endeavor as this will in the long run make India as one of the global leaders in the educational sector. As far as the steps are being taken up to augment the educational sector in the State, the setting up of IIM, IIT and IIMC is a laudable step. The students in large numbers would be coming to the State to pursue the higher and technical education. Other similar steps are needed to ensure fast–paced completion of these prestigious institutions so that the students of the State get benefited from these. There is no doubt that education is key to the development of the society and nation, and government should focus on improving the infrastructural facilities and quality of education in government schools.
