Baramulla, Oct 26: Government of India has launched Jan Suraksha Yojana under which three schemes namely Atal Pension Yojana (APY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) are being offered  by Department of Posts in all the Post Offices accross the country.
You get accidental Insurance of Rs 2 Lacs for just Rs12/- per annum under PMSBY Scheme and Life Insurance worth Rs 2 Lacs at just Rs 330/- per annum under PMJJBY. Under Atal Pension Yojana a person can get a fixed monthly pension from Rs 1000/- to Rs 5000 in his old age depending on their contribution. Besides this, Department of Posts also offers Sukanaya Samriddhi Yojana under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao program in which an account of a girl child can be opened upto the age of 10 Years and the amount accumulated may be utilized by the girl child for her education and other purposes on attaining the adult age.
Superintend Post offices, Baramulla Division requests the General Public to avail the benefits of all the schemes from their nearest Post Offices.
Government of India has now made  linking of Aadhaar and Mobile Numbers with all the Saving Accounts and Certificates mandatory by or before 31.12.2017.All our esteemed customers of Department of Posts are requested to contact their respective Post Offices and kindly get their Aadhaar number linked with their respective Accounts/saving certificated that have been already opened by them. They are also requested to kindly get their mobile numbers seeded in their accounts to get real time SMS without any extra charges.
